Applewood BBQ Mac Chicken n' Cheese​


  • Prepared ingredient
    • 330 grams Applewood BBQ Chicken​

    • 250 grams  (Penne, Shells, Macaroni) Short Pasta 

    • 2 cups  (Grated) Mozzarella 

    • 2 cups  (Grated) Mild Cheddar 

    • 0.5 cup  Cooking Cream 

    • 2 tablespoons  Favorite BBQ Sauce 

    • 1 teaspoon  Smoked Paprika 

    • 0.5 teaspoon  Cayenne Pepper / Chili Powder

    • 1 teaspoon  Onion Powder 

    • 1 teaspoon  Garlic Powder

    • 0.5 teaspoon  Black Pepper 

    • 3 tablespoons  (Finely chopped) Parsley 

Cooking Instructions

  • Bring 2 liters of salted water to a boil and stir in pasta.
  • In a large mixing bowl combing cheese, cream BBQ sauce, dry seasonings and parsley and combine thoroughly.
  • When al dente, drain pasta and reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water. 
  • Add pasta to cheese mixture and combine thoroughly, add pasta water as needed.
  • Using olive oil or butter, coat the inside of an oven safe baking dish and transfer pasta to the dish.
  • Arrange Tyson Applewood BBQ Chicken wings on top of the pasta.
  • Bake the dish in a 200'c preheated oven for 18-20min or until nicely browned on top.
  • Serve with salad or vegetables and extra BBQ sauce if desired.
